Press Release Summary: Award-winning debt settlement company makes charitable
donations to benefit African orphans and US Troops.

Press Release Body: Employees of Debt Shield, a Maryland-based debt settlement
company, this month made group donations to the AIDS Orphan Education Trust and
Operation Homefront.

The AIDS Orphan Education Trust, a nongovernmental organization providing education
to African children who lost their parents to AIDS, was selected by Debt Shield
Graphic Designer, Aaron Basch.

"What they are doing for the communities in Africa is amazing, creative,
resourceful, and inspiring," said Basch. Some African cultures do not traditionally
institutionalize orphans, according to AOET, and many end up on the streets. The
AIDS Orphan Education Trust helps place orphans with responsible foster families and
provides educational support for the orphans. For more information, visit AOET.org.

Operation Homefront, which created ECarePackage.org, is a nonprofit organization
supporting service members and their families that was selected by Debt Shield IT
Systems Administrator Matt Tiderman. He learned about Operation Homefront after
running into problems donating to US troops during the holidays.

"Back around Christmas, I wanted to send a care package to the troops in Iraq,"
Tiderman explained. "However with heightened security, care packages are not
allowed." After some research, he discovered he was able to donate through
ECarePackage.org.

"Being an Army brat, I know that high morale is very important for troops," said
Matt. "I just wanted to make sure the troops know we are still thinking of them, and
that we are proud of them. Whether or not we support the war, we should always
support our troops."

Visitors to ECarePackage.org can register overseas family members, sponsor service
members or their families. Operation Homefront created this program as a way for
citizens to make safe contributions to military families and personnel. To learn
more visit ECarePackage.org.

The donations were part of the employees' Denim Fund program where employees donate
money in exchange for the privilege of wearing blue jeans on Fridays. Each employee
enters his or her favorite charity into a random drawing to receive the collected
funds.

The Denim Dollar fund, created in May 2004, is celebrating its 4-year anniversary.
